Schwinn Vs Colson Darts ??

I have a 1939 Colson that has what I "thought" were Schwinn darts painted on the top bar. I mentioned I wanted to remove them to a knowledgeable collector who said "Those are Colson Darts". He said to look at the Schwinn darts and I will see a difference. I looked and I do see a difference. The photo I posted isn't great but my Colson dart is on the top. Schwinn example under it. Looks like I'm keeping them on my bike unless I hear different. Thanks for reading

I've never seen darts like that on a Colson. But, I haven't seen every Colson ever made, either.

Usually, they're just regular pointy darts.

Pretty sure, these are not darts but, art deco wings. Never saw those Colson wings up-close but, now that I have, I likes em.
