incorrect date stamps,are confusuing somtinres,i collect gm muscle cars and mistamed numbers showup often,i also sold a 1955 og shwinn corvette with misstamped numbers,there normal ppl were stamping this stuff,there is bound to be mistakes,

do you have them on your bike?i have them and they work great,some ppl pl put the newer orange brake pas on them that are made for middle and light weight bikes,the correct pads are black and made for stopping heavweight bikes,kool brakes,every one has front drum brakes,their as commom as cookie...

heres a pic of the accesiory front calper brakes on a phantom,set screws onthe brackets on the fork legs

one for a round fork have a rounder shape and set screws to keep them posistioned,that setip is very hard to find with the spring wire to hold the cable in plaece,and the brake pads on an og set are black and have a higher duramiter than standard pads to help a ballooer stop with rhe xtra weight...

those tanks with the front rubber gaskets are thin steel compared to and old og tank

have seen 2 many numbers that dont match the bike,judge the bike with the parts it has not the serial number,everytime someone shows a serial number someone will say thats the wrong number for that year etc,buy the bike by what parts are close to right for the bike in ?

the repop fenders are basically the same as the eariy ons on apearance and headlight,the mouning under the fork is diff because of the old and new angle of the fork legs,the newer crusiers came with the more narrow fenders and self contained plastic headlight,those fenders and headlight didnt...

are the 1999 whizzers with wc1 eng the ones where a lot of eng work needs 2b done?theres one in wisconcin with 4.3 miles on it for $800
