Can anyone tell me anything about this set up? The light is bigger than a Delta sealed beam and the bezel in particular is huge.

Convertibles were introduced by Huffman postwar and were the first bikes to bear the Huffy name. Those bikes did not convert from girls to boys but rather featured training wheels with platforms that allowed to to be converted from a push toy, to a bike.

The serial number is hard to read but it starts with a G and runs across the whole bottom bracket.

Does anyone recognize this frame? Huffy maybe?

I have to say that I am disappointed with the lack of enthusiasm over this piece. I have yet to have a single person inquire about it, let alone offer a bike up in trade. This surprises me because I know if someone else had one up for trade I would have no trouble finding bikes in my collection...
