I’m also at Stanford, I had to move from OC SoCal because Stanford has one of the best lymphoma clinics in the country and I have one of the rarest cancers. I understand good and bad days, I love working on my bike and listening to my radio it brings peace.

Where the spring connects to the stem spring retainer? The heavy duty was oversized and looked odd, compared to original spring. I have some old steel pipe I’m going to slip over spring bolt and see if that works. If not I’ll find a locking post war truss fork, tried a friends prewar truss fork...
