    The badge you have is a much later version, like you'd find on mid to late 40's and 50's models.

    The 1946 models had a tapered kick stand. They got smaller in diameter towards where it hit the ground. The next year they were the same diameter the whole length of the kick stand.

    No, the Schwinn Built Road Master badge has the 3 3/16" spacing, not the 3 3/8" spacing. The regular Road Master has the 3 3/8" spacing.

    I don't know who owns this or what the year is. If the kickstand is tapered like it looks to me, it could be a 1946.

    The badge that says Marathon Schwinn Built has the 3 3/16" hole spacing center to center. The American Standard badge has the 3 3/8" hole spacing center to center.

    The badge you're measuring is different then the ones I talked about. It is less than 3 3/8" but the others are 3 3/8". If you look closely you'll notice the screw holes are in a different location.
