Problem is that 95% of bikes people say are "restored" are just redone. Very few bikes are worth the money to truly restore them as original. If you want original that is really nice then save more money and buy a nice original.So many spray bomb,put new seats,pedals,etc. and say they are...

Talking with people who tow with their bikes I would have to go axle mount if I were to get one.

Not a fan of many of the new tires as far as looks especially when they have the reflective strip on the sidewall.They may be really good tires but dont look right on an old bike.They are good for custom bikes,etc.

I agree,I see far fewer painted ones than chrome ones. I would not turn down a nice chrome one though.
