I've got the sister Our Special #10 from 1896 in the exact same condition (although mine has just the original fixed hub and a pair of cool banjo spacers). How did that chain clean up? I need to do the same.
Maybe I should try to flip him this one for $1500? That would leave him room to double his investment.

A friend picked this up at Brimfield this weekend and was wondering about the age; was told it was Colson built but there's obviously some things cobbled on. Anyone have an opinion on what this is?
