My neighbor acquired this interesting little setup, and I’m looking for opinions from the experts here, if possible. I can’t locate any literature that shows a bike like this by Thor, but that doesn’t mean much. Runs like a top, and the sidecar is a great match.
The Atascadero Escape bicycle was one of the highlights of Faber's Cyclery in San Jose. It is entirely handmade or salvaged from non-bicycle parts with the exception of the fenders. I believe the grips were added later. I have no idea about the sprocket. It has garden hose tires.
Legend has...
I'm no expert on these bikes, but this one seems worth a gander. Nice looking ride.
Question for those of you more knowledgable: can a frame be identified as a Chater Lee factory product? I mean, as opposed to a bike simply outfitted with CL components? Is there a head badge...

What am I missing here? Just bidding war between two guys who have orphans?
How many of these are there, badges made for bikes that weren't made? Any others? or am I wrong about these?
Was there ever a Wheeled Goods Flyer? I don't think so, yet I've seen stacks of the badges. How about the Valparaiso Rolls Racer? Ever seen the badge with a bike, or a badge that showed...
ALL SOLD, THANK YOU
Racycle Pacemaker reproduction decal in gold and white with black pins, $30 each.
I only have two of these left, they were made to match the Racycle decals I produced. I'll sell the set (1 Racycle, 1 Pacemaker) for $50.
I have one Pierce reproduction decal set in...
Chainwheel is sharked beyond usability, but I don't think I've ever seen even a partial Thor marked crank.

A lot of money for a project bike, but certainly rare. Nice wheel set, though:

I'm producing some of these upon the inspiration of Freqman's Pacemaker project. Anyone else interested at $30 per decal? I'd like to get an idea of how many to print.
With the assistance of some very helpful CABE members, I've produced reproduction Harley Motorcyke waterslide decals in metallic gold with a black pinstriped outline, as close as possible to the original. Put the finishing touch on your teens Harley.
$20 per decal.
In Pennsylvania. I'm not gonna buy this, so I'll ruin it for everybody else...

Yeah, it's got some wrong parts, but don't we all?
This bike is being parted out by morti2000jon, so I'm not recommending anyone buy it, but....
....has anyone here ever seen another? It sure looks factory, but at first I thought it might be a custom. Is it a girl's bike? Weird.
I have about ten sets of these to sell. $210 per set, $110 each for single decals.

Hoofhearted (Patric C.) and I have been working on a project together. Our goal was to address the absolute lack of any available good quality Flying Merkel decals. We've seen some pretty ugly ones mounted on some very expensive and rare bicycles and motorcycles, and felt that this was a...

Incomplete and kinda crapped out, but looks like original graphics? Price is climbing steadily, too late to keep it secret, lol.

I've uploaded an album of the items I'm currently seeking here:

In particular, I'm looking for the hardware for a 24 tpi teens bayonet-style Miami one-piece crank
Here's an album of some small stuff to tempt possible trades, but I'm...
Had this little bike for a long time. I'm guessing this is a BRC frame, but I'm not really sure. I'm sorta keeping an eye out for parts on it, but I'm wondering what some correct wheels might be. Any ideas? What about cranks? I've never built a BMX bike before.
I'm piecing together a postwar Schwinn DX and from looking around it seems a variety of seats were used on these. What are my options for a correct one?
Peoria bikes, old as the hills.

The seller sold the fork a few days ago. I don't think I've ever seen a 26 frame in this configuration. Any thoughts?
Just for my edification, please.

Here's an old trike I got from a guy named Steve at Faber's in San Jose many years ago. No badge, guttered fenders, "garden" paint job, long spring seat, and a big front wheel. I'm curious about the maker and age - is it Colson or Rollfast? Or something else? 1920s or '30s?
I'd appreciate...
I noticed the chain ring here is similar to that on the 20-inch Colson in the "For Sale" section, and now I'm wondering if this is a Colson. I had sort of assumed it was a Rollfast for some reason. It's got New Departure hubs. Can't vouch for the front fork, but it came with the bike. I stuck...
Catfish offered this elgin fork for sale several times now. It looks pretty bad. Is it possible to do anything with it? Is there someone who can make this a real fork again? Or is it just one of those "broken forever but too rare to throw away" items I'm sure many people have hanging around...
