    1966 Coppertone Stingray

The Sprint sprocket is correct for a 1966 Fastback. The early Fastbacks did not have a slik on the back but both front and rear tires were the same. The serial number starts out with 2 letters, I can't read the first letter. But B is correct for 1966. The front fender should be a razor edge.
  8. 67Ramshorn

Lemon peeler Krate, Fastback and stingray delux value ?

The blue fastback has the wrong brake levers, front fender, derailleur, seat and pedals plus some that I missed. I would not pay more than $300, too many parts to replace to make it correct.

    Fastback chainguard question.

Before I keep going I am going to call my painter to confirm.
  36. 67Ramshorn

    Fastback chainguard question.

It may have happened on later Stingrays but I am 100% positive that in 1967 the chain guard did not have any silver behind the blue paint.
  37. 67Ramshorn

    Fastback chainguard question.

Schwinn did not paint a silver base coat on the chainguard. The blue was painted directly on the chrome and then screened white letters. This is not original to the 67 Fastback.
  38. 67Ramshorn

    A trio of 24/16's

    Sweet line up !!
  39. 67Ramshorn

    67 fastback info?

Not sure I would pay $400+ for this one. It will take a lot of money in parts to get this bike to decent condition. The seat alone could cost $250+. Missing the chain guard is a bummer. Trying to find one is very hard. Good luck Dan
