If you are sure it's house paint, try pressure washing it with hot water. I cleaned bike off that way before and it got most of it. Then you can use a mild solvent to get what's left. Start with WD40 and work up to mineral spirits, starting fluid, and carb cleaner. Test as you go! and don't let...

Yes, that is a 70 Apple Krate. Someone swapped out the rear wheel and took off the shifter (you can see marks in the paint where it was). Some other observations: Seat, sissy bar, and rear tire have been replaced. Probably the chain too, as it was likely too narrow for the rear cog. Springer...

The wider parts won't fit into a Fastback frame. You might be better off putting a FB fork and wheel on a regular Stingray frame. BTW - why would you want to make a Stingray look like a Huffy Rail?? :)

The wheels have been swapped out. You want S-5 wheels, which will be 20x1 3/8. These rims are larger diameter than the ones on there now. Go look at some other Fastbacks and you will see how they are supposed to look.

Pieced together jumble of incorrect and non-Schwinn parts, repainted incorrect color, not a high loop sissy bar (not axle mount) and based on the 2 different locks (cable and chain!) an unreasonably high opinion of what this bike is worth. It would have to be CHEAP for it to be worth it. -Dan
