Yea a little after i posted this the seller told me that there was someone on their way to pick it up :/ Thanks for all the input though. Im not too sad about missing out on this one.
I have the option to buy this colson but I am unsure of it being what I think it is. I did a little research and believe it might be late 30's colson imperial. Missing a lot of parts but I like that it has the headlight and maybe the original fenders.
Any help on the identity of the bike would...
Looks kinda similar to mine but the problem is I have no clue what the identity is either haha
The fork and chainring look pretty similar. Also, when I looked very closely on my frame I could see the lines that were painted just like yours. Mine has a 6 digit serial number on the headtube and...
Phattiremike was the first to pm so he gets first shot at it. We are arranging meeting up for him to check out the bike.
Here are a few close-ups of the bike. As far as I can tell, it looks like original paint.
I recently bought this bike but I soon realized I already have too many and dont have room for more. I dont know much about the bike but I know it belonged to a collector who passed away and his wife sold it to the guy I bought it from.
The paint is in great shape throughout the bike, except...
For sale is a 1952 BF Goodrich Schwinn B4 Whizzer without the engine. Thanks to the cabe member who helped me with that information.
I originally bought this bike just because of the pork chop drum brake it has on it. I was planning on taking it off and selling the bike on its own, but then...
Ohhh I see what you mean. I did think it looked a little odd but I didnt pay much attention to it. Here is a better picture of the brake. Also the serial number is D87297.
Thanks for your comment. Darn i wish I knew that when I saw it. I bet this guy had the motor somewhere in that warehouse. He had a bunch of car parts so I didnt bother to look.
What do you mean by extended brake arm? Here are some pictures of the other side of the bike.
Just recently picked up this bike from my local CL. Based on my research I figured it is a 1952 B4. The main reason I bought this bike was because of the drum brake but as I was on my way back home, I noticed it also had some heavy duty spokes. It was a pleasant surprise.
I picked it up from a...
Thanks everyone for the help and compliments.
Wow that one cleaned up real nice! Gives me some hope for this one. Hopefully most of the paint is still there but its a bit of a long shot.
It doesnt seem to have any headbadge holes :/ makes it that much harder to identify.
Thanks for the...
I bought this bike a few months ago but I was unable to get my hands on it until now.
The bike is completely covered in rust so I have no idea what the original color was or any other signs that could tell me who could have built this bicycle but I was able to find a serial number on the...
Snyder built bicycle is sold. I still have the monark and the schwinn. I have to get rid of these very soon so if you are interested, shoot me an offer for one or both
I am in school in Chicago but I am leaving soon since I will be graduating. I've have these 3 bikes for sale. These will have to be picked up locally since I have no tools or space to pack and ship a bike. If I am unable to sell them by Dec 10th, I may consider buying some tools and shipping...
If he is passing by El Paso, TX I have 2 bikes for sale. One is a Monark Coupe De Ville, the other is a Monark Imperial. I dont have any pictures of the monark imperial since most of it is still packed in a box but it is in rough condition. Everything is there but it could use some TLC.
Hiawatha gambles with shockease is still for sale. Just to throw it out there, I am not against shipping but I cant do it myself at the moment so if someone is interested in one of these and wouldnt mind a bike shop or a fellow caber packing and shipping it, I could try to work something out.
I am unsure of what bike this one is. It has no badge or crank to help to identify it but it has some nice parts. Looking to get $150 for this one and would consider to sell it in parts.
Last one is a complete monark thunderbird. This bike has some cool features. $200
I bought these bikes a few weeks ago from a collector near chicago. I want to sell these locally. I live downtown chicago. I would ship them but I dont have the time or the tools to do so. I am just here for school and I live in a dorm room so disassembling bikes and packing them would be a...
Wish I could of made it on time. I got there a little too late and most people were gone. I did get to see a very nice silver king and some other cool bikes though. Next time ill make sure to get there extra early.
I believe I will be going to this one tomorrow but I cannot take any of my bikes since my only way of transportation is my motorcycle. Its a shame since I would of enjoyed to take some but I am sure I will have enough fun just by seeing what you guys have and meeting some of you. I will take a...
I had picked up some bikes from a local CL find a while ago but I left some behind since I could not take them all at once. Here are the ones I just picked up yesterday. By the way, these bikes are in Chicago if anyone is interested. I plan on flipping all of them.
I was pleasantly surprised...

I was pleasantly surprised when I noticed that it said Panther under the paint in the chainguard. Looks like with some work, I...
Thanks all for the input. It was a cool story with the seller.
He is an architect who bought a church and made it his house. I went to pick up the bikes at night so it was a little creepy when I got there and saw the structure of the house. The house is also in the middle of nowhere so it...
I found these on my local CL and I wanted to see if you guys could give me a range in value for them. The owner had several more bikes but he said he was not ready to part with some of them. Unfortunately most of those were the coolest ones. These were some I was able to buy from him. I bought...
I saw that one as well. It is an interesting one. I thought it was a roadmaster supreme. If it is, it would be missing the tank, headlight and the rear reflector. My guess is its about a 1938 bike
I bought this nice Raleigh Lenton Sports at a yard sale this weekend. Has everything original. Only thing missing is the bottle and the headlight might not be the original one.
