Hello I am looking for a set of Rams horn bars for my Western flyer the wild one. Would like to get a tall set if possible. Let's see what you got! Thanks!
Hello, I'm trying to find a front fender for a collegiate project I am doing. There is one on eBay I'm watching but would rather spend money with cabe members. Thanks in advance.
Got this guy on the cheap this summer. Slowly getting the parts and pieces together. Figured I'd share the progression with everyone. First picture is of when it arrived as a single speed.
Looking for a black chain gaurd for a 66 fastback. There is one on eBay, but it's very expensive. Figured I would check here as well. Thanks! Here is a picture of the project so far.
Got a baby on the way and I am getting rid of some projects. Here is a Sears tote bike. Kinda rusty, rides as is. I fixed the front brakes. It's a neat bike, remove two screws from the frame and it come apart, like a folding bike. I believe it's a 70s model. 50$ plus the flight. Thanks for looking.
Picked this guy up a few years ago and I haven't done anything to it. Got a baby on the way so few projects gotta go. Asking 125$ plus shipping. I can provide more pictures, just have to go over to my storage and snap a few. Thanks for looking.
Looking for a black and white Schwinn S seat with or without crash rail. Will be going on a 61 Corvette 3speed. Doesn't have to be super pretty, but can't be super ugly. Patina is great. Thanks guys!
Putting together a 5 speed fastback, and I'm wondering if anybody has a set of rims, and maybe a derailleur? Putting the feelers out. Could also use a set of fenders, thanks, Lance
Picked this crusty guy up recently and have torn it down and been cleaning it up. Diet soda and steel wool has made the white paint white again! Have parts shipping out currently. Figured I would show ya my.progress so far.

Any whoo i won the auction. While talking with the guy about getting it shipped out to me, he mentioned he had another little bike. Upon further chatting he said it was a pea picker, and it was cheap. So i...
Got these ladies all shined up and ready for a road trip! Heading to the ocean for a long weekend. Recently finished the 66 2 speed with the fur seat. And shined up the 65 single speed today. Definitely will have the only two Stingrays in town! Thanks for looking.
I got a pretty rough stingray a few months back off of eBay. Front fender isn't original, has a decal on the chain gaurd, and lots of new bolts on it. Rear hub was super noisy and wouldn't disengage. So I did a rust-eration on it. Cleaned up good and I lubed the bearings. Restored the seat with...
My current stingray project has an automatic 2 speed kick back hub on it. It shifts and works but is noisy and doesn't want to coast well. Took it to my LBS, he says he needs a special tool to get it apart. I have read you can take these apart from the brake arm side if you can't get that lock...
Recently got this 64 Typhoon for cheap, today i polished the rust off the chrome, lubed it and put new tubes and tires on it. The old seat was trashed so I put this red messinger on it. Looks pretty sharp with the home painted red S7 rims. Going on the maiden voyage in a few minutes! Thanks for...
Rescued this 78 stingray 3 speed from a junk shop in eastern Washington. So far I have put air in the tires, and wiped the dust off. Rides pretty great, how ever the shifter won't hold the gear engaged. So you have to hold it in gear. And the kick stand is missing. So I'll be looking for one...
Has anyonehad any luck with repairing the persons bike siren? I got one recently and it is frozen up. Just figured I would ask before I tear it apart. Thanks!
Some one painted this bike a few times with black paint. I've had it in my storage closet for a bit. Today input tires on it and chipped the paint off the original lettering on the chain gaurd. Turns out it's a wasp, and it's the heavy duty model. Also has a 2 speed kick back that works great...
Just finished up this ladies varsity, did a complete tear down and re lube. Scrubbed all the original paint and chrome down with wd 40 and steel wool. Wheels have missing chrome in spots and the paint has rust chunks showing. At one time this thing was quite rusty. New cables, tires, and handle...
Just wanted to share the rollfast i got today. I think it's a 1936 but I'm not sure. Pretty crusty but it's blue under that rust. Going to see what's left of the original paint. Pretty excited about this one. And as you can see it has all the options. Hahaha can't wait to get this thing riding...
Just got home with this little feller. Rides great. Has a front bumper, chrome will clean up good and so will original paint. Going to.keep this one for sure. I'll post pics after clean up. Here is before clean up.
Took this picture of my wife's Peugeot and a Schwinn I recently finished up. The colors compliment each other well. And the matching racks and fenders. Just wanted to share.
Next project is this western flyer. Not sure on a year for it. Also forgot to get a pic of the serial number. Can anyone tell me a year on it with out serial number? Planning on cleaning it up and polishing rust away. And then sell it, but I always seem to keep them after I'm done hahaha. Thanks...
I recently bought out over 20 bikes from a collector. Lots of 10 speeds, 3 speeds and 5 speeds. But I also got a few cruisers. This Hawthorne frame is pretty awesome. The forks are throwing me off though. I haven't seen one that curves this way, and I dig how the truss rods would run through the...
Got this Le Tour all cleaned up repaired and rolling again. Rides great. Love the way it looks too. Got it up for sale here in Bellingham WA. Figured I would share the finished product with you guys! Thanks for looking.
Hey there, I recently bought out over 20 bikes. And this old Columbia came with em. Also got a skip tooth ladies bike. Curious on the men's. What year it.is and what model it is. I was told it's a news boy special. Any info on the ladies bike would be appreciated too. Thanks guys! Lance
Bought this old Hawthorne from a user on here. Working on removing the horrible paint that is covering the awesome original paint and pin striping. I used goof off and steel wool. Took about an hour to do the first fender. Any body got any tips to speed up the process? Anything that works better...
Bought this rollfast of of here a couple weeks ago. Super rusty. The guy I got it from said "beat to sh*t" wd40 and steel wool to smooth it out . Will be waxing it tomorrow. Had a manual 2 speed Bendix hub and rim for the back. Matching rim for front. White walls, new grips and a modern crank...
Hey there I have a 41 Hawthorne and I'm trying to find a set of peaked fenders for it. Mine are pretty rough. Going to be a rat bike so they don't gotta be real pretty. Looking for red and white or brownish colored ones. Brackets need to be in good shape. Thanks in advance!
On a whim I bought some evapo rust tontry out. Did a 20 hours soak and holy cow I am impressed. All the rust is gone and bare metal remains. Now I have to decide if i leave it bare or Paint it up ....probably will wax it and leave it bare. Try it out if you have time. This is off my 40s rollfast...
I have this 83 trek I'm looking to sell. Pretty awesome road bike. Suntour components rigida rims. New back tire and tube. New cables for derailleurs .Needs some adjustment on the rear derailleur I think. This was the last year trek hand made their frames. I got it from the original owner and...
So I picked this up a month or two ago. Slowly been getting the parts for it. I got my skip tooth rims and slapped a couple tires on them. Thought I would take a few pics of the mock up before I get to work on it. I'll be going with big 2.125 tires like the rear. I still need to get more skip...
I haven't gotten to see it yet so I am unsure the condition. Guy is saying he wants 350 for it . Thought I would ask here first. Comes with an extra set of rims I believe. Thanks in advance!
Ended up getting this 50s ladies Monarch today off craigslist . Has a manual 2speed hub and spray paint paint job. It has 26 inch tires on it but they don't seem to fit well at all, so I assume it's a 24 inch wheel. Looks like it was originally gold under that crappy paint. Just thought I would...
I decided to take the mead apart yesterday. got it all tore down minus the crank and pedals, not sure how to get the crank apart. i Assume a spanner wrench or snap ring pliers will do it? any thoughts? also i noticed the threads on the forks are pretty bad. so my question is what size tap and...
today i started cleaning up the 1915 Mead Ranger i recently got. And low and behold it looks like there is actually original paint under all that rust. I am wondering what the best way besides an acid bath would be to remove as much rust as possible. I also removed the seat so i can begin to...
Picked this crusty frame up a while ago and I am looking for info on it. Called a hawk. Thinking of of putting some 27inch Schwinn 10 speed rims on it and a positron shifting system on it make a 5 speed. Gonna call it the tetanus speed! Thanks for looking
I have 2 restored schwinns for sale. 1978 Collegiate 3 speed and a 1978 Schwinn Suburban 5 speed would like to get 175 to 200 out of them each. Both came out pretty awesome. the collegiate needs to have the tires centered on the rims a bit better, kinda has a hop to it. I currently have 22 bikes...
Good Evening! Well my wife went out of town for the weekend, so I spent today doing the bulk of the work on my 53 JC Higgins. See my previous thread about it for the whole story...
Today i hopped on my Trike and headed to our community bike shop to look for a few parts ( crank, rims, and tires)...
