Nice hard to find original part in very restorable condition! It's grimy and has traces of red house paint and will probably need some minor straightening and fitting once you refinish it. I left it alone because I know everybody has their own ways of achieving the look they like.
Very nice SW Floating Hub up for DOND!
This was earmarked for a Pacemaker project but wasn't needed at the last minute. The outer plates are quite good as shown and have been media blasted in preparation for chroming. All parts are excellent mechanically~ That means the threads, races, lock...
Sorting out a bunch of mixed up hub parts and wondering if these axles look familiar to anyone. They have a 10x1mm metric thread, one square end and a lock washer slot on the other. From a multi-speed internal hub I'm guessing. The six axles on the left have some different features as shown...
I have a number of these high quality hubs I'm trying to identify. I suspect postwar English or German made. They are generally unmarked save this Schwinn approved version Mark IV 36h. More typically the ones I've found are sporting the cross hatched brake arm with no other external markings...
Special Cabe offering of hard to find new old stock retainer bearings! These are mainly for front and rear hubs although the #5's also fit pedals by Persons, most Torrington, and Wald.
Typically (but not always) retainer bearings are stamped with both manufacturer and #. These standardized...
Yard sale fresh!
Included in this slot is a complete set of four 3 1/2" caps as shown. Single Thayer is for a stroller I think 3 3/4". Single beehive is 3 1/2". No missing or broken tabs but some need a little straightening.

I'm clearing out my stash of extra chain! All are prewar Diamond brand 1" - 3/16" and are clean and serviceable.
Shipping is +$10 for a Priority Mail small flat rate box which could probably fit up to 5 chains.
I may be able to accommodate requests to lengthen or shorten chains as I have spare...
Hard to find parts for either retro fitting the Wise frame lock to pre-war CWC or for augmenting the existing parts you have already.
Includes fork plate, frame plate & screws. Fork plate is believed to be an excellent reproduction, frame plate and assembly screws appear to be originals.

I'm working on a 1961 Bendix 2 speed kickback Red band unit. Is there a way to disassemble this to get to the bearing or is it a factory assembled unit?
Thanks in advance

Great unit and exceedingly hard to find. Fits Five Bar, Rocket, Speedster and other 26" steel frame models that have the mounting hole in the oval frame section behind the bottom bracket.
Excellent fully functional original stand!

Nice unit from a 1940 bicycle. Tool surfaces of the nut and stem bolt top are a bit chewed up from overzealous tightening in the past, still mechanically very good with fairly presentable chrome.

Does anyone know about what year CWC changed to a straight solid 5/8" inch post as opposed to a Lucky 7?
In a related question does anyone know about what year they dropped the two shims and just had a standard 5/8" opening in the seat clamp?
I'm guessing it happened late pre-war but I'm not...
I've come across this several times in the past couple of years. Frames with holes near the top of the seat tube. Is this consistent with some type of motor plate mounting? If so which type of motor kit?
The holes through the tubes are approximately 9/32" and appear threaded. Hole spacing...
Hello Cabers,
Can anyone shed some identification help on a few postwar tanks & racks? These have me stumped. Looking to find what bikes these would be appropriate for and approximate year range.
Thank you,

A friend of mine is in over his head putting a cushioner back together that's been in pieces for years. I don't have any experience with this particular fork either so I figured I'd ask here. I did a quick look to see if there was a thread on it but I couldn't find one easily.
Thank you,

Super neat DANA 3-speed planetary transmission kit! Complete and in good condition, I did not note any damaged parts. I mocked it up on a 26" ballooner frame, and it drives and brakes smoothly. I was not able to get the twist grip cable shift mechanism to work properly so that will need some...

Check out this beautiful survivor set of vintage BFG Silvertowns!
These have been carefully deep cleaned and have been treated with John Deere tire dressing. They still have a sharp tread and lettering with bright side walls. These hold pressure and present wonderfully. I've taken lots of...
Fairly nice original paint wheel set, cream with red pins. These have a Schwinn script front hub and New Departure Model D rear. All parts are cleaned and found to be serviceable with some wear. Paint should clean up further if given this steel wool/wd40 treatment. The front rim has a little...
Rough but likely redeemable original paint fender set. Still has the crusty bottom of a Delta winner fender light attached. I believe the tip of the front fender has been trimmed. Braces are decent. I took lots of pictures so you can get an idea of what these will need to be rehabbed.
