    Colson Commander Thread

Of all the prewar bikes I’ve collected, I’ve gone through them all, cleaning to the bearings, except my 36 Colson Commander. Not sure the reason...but it remains in the state I bought it in from a Massachusetts auction, pulled down from the attic “unmolested.”. I’ve even found the rare...

    Shelby Airflow Speedline

Scrubbinrims....who's that, is he on here? When a desirable bicycle hits the public via social media or advertising on CL, etc... for undervalue particularly, there's going to be a scrum until it exchanges vehicles. So why didn't this bike sell for asking price of 1,500, I would have thought...
  46. scrubbinrims

Collectors,,,,what to do about large collection and tires going flat over time?

This is a major problem for the hidden, not ridden crowd as when tires go flat, a bike can topple the whole stack like dominos. I have a compressor with a long cord and fortunately most my bikes have drop stands so I only have to worry about the front, which I pump and rotate a few times a year...
