After looking up the patent #, it looks like it’s from a car heater part from 1935. Oh well, I like it.

Does anybody know what this button was for? I picked up this the other day and thought it was pretty cool. It is very similar to the headbadge on my 46 Bf Goodrich Hollywood and the De Luxe on my tank is spelled the same. Maybe a basket button/ Emblem?

First ride in six months since knee surgery. Took the 36 and 46 out to Newport Beach. What a day it was with 75 degree weather.

Here’s a 46 Schwinn (BF Goodrich) I found in a attic covered up. Everything is original except new tires and tubes. Although the tubes (BF goodrich) still held air and the tires (BF Goodrich) were in great shape, it was like pedaling a tank. Even found an original battery in the tank with 1.34...

Thanks everyone for kind words. I ordered some of John’s cream and black tires. Mounted them and wow, I can’t believe what a difference it makes. I first rode the bike on the original BF Goodrich’s and it was a tank. Rolls super smooth and coasts like a dream.

I use automotive 2 color base coat then clear. If you use automotive low tack painters tape, you can spray base coat colors within 45 minutes of each other without the paint sticking to the stencils. Clear coat with medium reducer an hour after the last base coat. The reason for painting both...

Bike is all back together. Rebuilt the horn, works good! Rebuilt the original fender light switch, replaced battery tray and all works well. Every part was serviced and greased. Now it’s time to c ruze with my wife and my C model.
