What are they asking for it? There have been plenty of postwar straight bars listed on the CABE to get an idea of value. Do a search and you should get a fairly good idea.

I'd keep this one for a while to ride but don't like getting stuck & not being able to get my money back.

Many of the BFG built Hornets had that Lobdell seat...'maybe'? some Schwinn badged ones too? not certain...
Bike is a fair deal at 4-500 based on parts math
tank 200
frame 100 range
fenders 50 range
wheels 50 range
bars, rack, seat guard, truss rods...100 all range

but looks pretty toasty for asking price.

Thing is with hornets...you can find decent looking survivors for 600-800

or you can buy my immaculate resurrection 46' early NOS /resto for 2500!
