1976 Schwinn Pixie II

I have a 1976 Schwinn Pixie II. According to the catalogs, the Dixie II was introduced in 1977 yet my serial number shows it was manufactured in 76.

I was curious if a 76 Pixie would increase its collectability being that they didn't have the Pixie II.

probably not.the later pixie's aren't really a hot collectible.they are great starter bikes though.

Like cars schwinn began production of their new line up at the end of the year. They would have began making 77 models at the end of 76. Chances are your bike was manufactured at the end of 76.

I dont think that would increase the value of your pixie
