40 DX fender /light. ... Autocycle ????

Hello , I'm collecting parts to put a 40 DX Deluxe together and I'm unsure if the DX would have used these fenders. If not what model used these fenders ? I'm hoping to build a bike around this fork and fenders. Maybe I'll find a original paint Black frame. .... thanks in advance for your help. ....Tony

I've seen that fender light on a couple prewar straight bar models as well as the B models.

Although if you don't care about being "correct" those fenders would look cool on a DX especially if you found an original paint frame with matching patina.

For now I'm going to assemble with the dx frame and enjoy it , I'm glad to have found prewar fenders. ...
