Apple Krate Sissy Bar Different

After looking at many photos of the 1968 Apple Krate my "Sissy Bar" does not extend above the seat. It looks like these bars are not altered. Any one have an opnion on this bar?

Looking at that picture I can see rust around the support top and bolt. That seat support has been modified, cut off.

Now if it was unintentionally broken I would say buy a new one, but if you like it leave it as is!

agreed. if that's what some kid did to it back in the day, it's kinda cool to leave it like that.
