Cadorino

Look Ma, No Hands!
Just finished two winter projects, 1950's J.C Higgins step thru (SN 506-45030 1618147) and a '76 Schwinn Speedster (SN BM516958) both of which I picked up this fall.
Help with the JCH, badge says made in Germany, any rarity to that, were some made there and shipped over? Rim strips and inner tubes indicate, Raptor Made in Holland
Schwinn has a tag on the seat post, from a bike shop in Warren, PA

The JCH is a 1956. Sears' main bike supplier Murray was building a new factory that year. They were already sourcing English style lightweights from Steyr/Daimler/Puch, a collective who had factories in W. Germany and Austria. Stelber Imports may likely have facilitated it, since they also had similar bikes badged as their own. Great condition! Kinda rare, but not especially valueable as a girls' bike. Speedster looks sweet too!
