So this is a friends bike. This is something I havnt seen before so Someone School me on what I'm looking at. I know it's a rat rod. Just want to know the frame maker. Thanks for the help.
I BELIEVE YOU HAVE A POST-WAR H. P. SNYDER - BUILT FRAME--- MOST LIKELY IT HAD A HAWTHORNE HEAD BADGE SINCE IT HAS A HAWTHORNE- STYLE FRONT SPROCKET. I HAVE HAD SEVERAL OF THESE FRAMES. I HOPE THIS HELPS AND I'M SURE OTHERS WILL WEIGH IN WITH MORE INFO.
Doesn't look like a Snyder built bike. @spoker
Believe it's a Safticycle frame made in LaCrosse Wisconsin. Looks like the same frame as the one CABE member spoker found. Same rear dropouts and seat tube decals. Search Safticycle on this site for more info. Looks to be a rare frame.

KUDOS TO CDS2323---- YOU HAVE AN "EAGLE EYE" FOR DETAIL. MY FRAMES DID NOT HAVE STRAIGHT "SEAT STAYS" AS DOES THIS FRAME. I SHOULD HAVE LOOKED CLOSER.I WILL READ UP ON THIS SAFTICYCLE FRAME.
