the little oiler is way before the 1930's
it's a fairly common oiler and this oiler is usually stamped on the bottom and when in better shape you can read:
PAT'D APRIL 23. '95
MADE IN U.S.A.
PAT'D APRIL 6. '97
and like you said, a nice little item to have in a vintage tool kit
