Not to sound cynical, but I always just tap the cups out with a narrow block of wood and a hammer. Just work your way around it until it falls out. for free.

I already have a hammer and a block of wood.

I like it rough. I use a long screw driver and one whack with a hammer. Cup pings across the garage.

That's me for about the past 18 years. Just keep an old rusty seatpost around to knock them out. The post I've been using for the past few years is mushroomed on one end from hammering it.
