Good evening to all, I need help identifying this Schwinn that I found on Craigslist. The serial num. is SE94 825. This one is made in Japan. Need to know the model and year. Thanks

Sure looks like a 1979 Le Tour IV to me but I'm no expert on these. Lugged frame but it says it's made in the USA so maybe Metacortex will chime in.

The SE9xxxx serial indicates a frame made in May '79 (E9). The 2259 badge stamp indicates a bike built on the 225th day of 1979, which was Monday August 13th, 1979. It would appear to be a '79 Le Tour IV. The Le Tours were "torch brazed" in Chicago for '79 and '80 only.
