Oscar Egg Saddle on eBay- thoughts?

Just put this rough old saddle up for auction and I'd like to get any input you all may have.

Looking through archives, I can't find another Oscar Egg stamped saddle. His namesake bikes seem to have mostly brooks outfits.

So my question is does anyone recognize the chassis design of this saddle? Trying to narrow year/era of racing the saddle was intended for.

For posterity: the tail of the saddle frame looks distinctly heavy duty, anyone recognize it?
