Schwinn Approved Pedals ??

Can someone tell me what years Schwinn used these pedals. They were on a 1936 Cycleplane although I believe them to be from a later model. On the end they say Schwinn Approved.

I don't know for sure, but recall not seeing "Schwinn Approved" until the early - mid 50s. They look like common pedals , like Meteors.
