Schwinn Flying Star

I got this bike, but I cannot find any serial number.
I check the catalogs and it looks that it was made like single bar only in 55 and 56.
Is it true? I am interested in any other info about the bike.

Yes,Looks like Schwinn used the regular Canti. style frame after '56. The serial number is hidden on yours do to the child seat. Its on the frame or "drop out" just above the REAR AXLE on the left side or kickstand side of the bike. Nice find,looks like it was'nt abused

I saw that. This one is a one speed, on the coaster brake it says Schwinn approved
