How do you remove the rear gear cluster on the Suburbans that have the Shimano FF crank freewheel system? My Schwinn freewheel tools are too big in diameter to fit the Suburban cluster.
Thank you.
FF system freewheels with an 18.4mm/12-spline hole require the Shimano TL-FW20 (aka "Boss"), Bicycle Research CT-4 or equivalent tool. These were designed for pre-1985 Shimano freewheels, including FFS models. This is the lowest price one I know of: http://www.bicycletool.com/shimanosplinedfreewheelremoverpre-1985.aspx
