Sturmey Archer 3 Speed Hubs Fit? S5 To S7 Rims?

Hello,I have a question does any one know if the 1959 Sturmey Archer 3 speed hubs and gears from a ten speed (which i believe are a S5 rim) Are they interchangeable to a S7 rim the same for a schwinn middleweight cruiser like a jaguar mark lV? Any info would be greatly appreciated, thanks

you can put any hub on any rim. It sounds like you want to make a 5 speed jaguar. I have had luck interchanging hubs from SA to Schwinn 5 speed hubs using the original spokes.
