Riding a '37 Colson Imperial
So I'm primarily a New Departure kinda guy, but a couple of our Colsons have come equipped with the dreaded Morrow rear hub. While servicing one today, I noticed this crack in the "cartridge"(I think that's what it's called). I happen to have another Morrow hub lying around for parts, so I snatched the one out of it and prepped it. Could I have just reused the original, or was it a wise decision to swap it out? Mike

Would a substitute part with that date work for you? If so, couldn't you just place a want ad in the classifieds for a donor hub with that date code or just that one part? It was a wise decision to swap it out.
