Cruisin' on my Bluebird
In my opinion they are of serious historic value in mountain biking. I do not hear much here on CABE about these bicycles. I recently received in trade a mint red ice or maroon y22 with Fox rear shock. I think it is absolutely amazing. Does anyone else have an affinity for these early carbon MTBs ?

Yeah, They were terrible ride! Still have my alloy 1996 Gary Fisher Joshua version. Y bikes were commonly refereed to as Pogo Sticks. They hadn't figured out how important rebound control was on rear suspension yet. They are cool looking bikes though. The Trek Y Five O was one of the coolest paint job versions of that frame they made. They seem to pop up quite a bit and you can find them cheap so start collecting!
