I'm looking to purchase some Schwinn 26" wheels off of EBay. They are in good shape but are white, not chrome.. Claim is that they are from 1960s bike. Can anyone tell me if Schwinn offered white wheels?

Yes, Schwinn had a variety of middleweight models that came with painted S-7 rims.

Tornado, Typhoon, Fleet, Skipper, Debbie, Spitfire, Fiesta, Hollywood just to name a few.
