Shannonc

Look Ma, No Hands!
Seller states this is a 1947 Schwinn Tandem but I can't find it in the catalogs. Any one out there know if this is truly a Schwinn Tandem? If not can anyone tell me what it really is? If all goes well I will be picking it up tomorrow.

found out

got an answer on another forum that this is cobbled together from two girls bikes. Glad I found out before I bought it. Thanks

But what is the matter with cobbled together. If it was welded together using a string as a guide, you have a unique story. It would be somewhat difficult mounting up on the first seat though. A guy wanted to tow a girl around bad enough to go through this trouble? Maybe she held the string while he welded.
