What is the serial no. and the no. stamped into the headbadge next to the "i" in Schwinn? I ask because a 1980 model should have a rear Atom drum brake, and it appears to be missing.

This must be a 1981 model. I can't see the fork darts that will indicate a year but the serial from what I can tell without my glasses is KS and the last number on the headbadge is 1. This is the first one I've seen with gold decals and badge.

Serial is KS 530924
Does not have atom . I have a spitfire 5 with atom if interested . I've been told gold decals are rare
