Wore out three sets of tires already!
Just got done putting together a 61 I picked up a month ago. Had painted rims, spokes and hubs, a chrome chain guard the at had paint off of it, plain black and white seat, mismatched grips, and a newer black rack. Kind of a whoopty. In a box of parts I got from the guy, was a scratched up matching speedster chain guard. Had a set of better fenders, and with it tore down paint rubbed out, and all regressed and new whitewalls on respoked rims by MLC, and a set of old white grips I had laying around I think it turned out pretty good. It had a 61 crank, the neck looks like the one year 61neck, even though not 100% correct I think it will turn some heads! Lol. Having a blast playing with these old bikes! Joe.
