WTH? The girl's Hollywood is listed as restored, the bike is all chipped/scraped...with all that experience one would think he'd know what the definition of restored is.....

Like many it seems when that seller says "restored" he really means "cleaned up and rebuilt with whatever parts I had on hand". But he must be doing something right as he got a whopping $240 for this '74 Varsity with more incorrect than original parts: http://www.ebay.com/itm/331393762739

I'm really doubtful about this seller being a Schwinn trained mechanic for 35 years. There was no such paint color called Rootbeer. His bikes have just been serviced making them useable and road worthy, that's it. Nothing wrong with that but it's a far cry from restored.

If this guy was in Williamsburg, NY and stood on a busy corner by a train station, these bikes would be gone within a day for his asking price. I hate when people say restored instead of refurbished
