I have a 1938 Colson Tank that I would like to trade for a 37 Colson straight bar tank (for bike in the last pic) or for a Colson Tube Slat Rack.
The tank had already been painted (pretty nice job too) when I got it many years ago.
Anyway there was a small lump on the inside of the tank so i took the paint off on the out side and it looks like there is a repair with some filler (bondo ?) (see pic) I think the paint could easily be matched if you want to retain this color red. Otherwise bead blast and paint to your color scheme.
