A bellows stem is very tough to find I have seen them mostly on early Roadmasters.

I can probably do one out of heat treated red bronze and then nickel plate it. It would take a ton of testing to make it safe.

the original ones are die cast pot metal aluminum would probably be stronger
that's why you don't see many of them
