Wore out three sets of tires already!
Some bikes I've been checking out. Wondering what you guys think? The Hornet was first listed at 100, I talked to him and he said I would see him after work. Then he pulled it and resisted it for 800 now he is down to 400. The Shelby seems pretty cool but I'm pretty sure I'm too big to ride it comfortably.

Not too bad. That would be great if the Shelby was a 26". If I was closer I'd snag that blue girls schwinn for $200.00, but hopefully less.
 
Yeah, if that Shelby was a 26" I wouldnt have posted this until I had it. The girls Schwinn is nice and I like the girls Mead but not sure how original it is.
 
I called him 15 minutes after he listed it for 100. He took it down and next time I saw it he had it for 800. What would be a decent price for it? It needs work but it seems to be there (mostly)

highly doubt he'll get 3-400, offer 200 or wait till nobody buys it.
 
I snagged the Hornet, hoping to grab the blue ladies (Panther?) soon.


Or Starlet which is most likely in that blue. .

And although girls bikes don't command the higher valued market, in comparison, it's priced more reasonably.

The hornet's value is mostly in its tank, average $200 cleaned up, and the wheels frame etc are heavy rust. Lot's of work and replacement there; buy the tank and the bulk parts compensate for clean-up. .

While the girls bike has $100 tank and $100 rocket ray light. Way better or salvageable rims, chrome etc.. too bad for girls because it's the better value as advertised albeit a whole paint or remove house paint aint fun. .
