ID help requested -- Hiawatha Shelby Navajo

Grandmother's bike, currently working on restoration. Looking for more specifics about build and year. Believe its a Hiawatha by Shelby? Navajo. 24"

Serial Number looks to be 45 WG6 24 1237. Has SHEL on badge and Navajo on chain guard.

Your bicycle was built by the Cleveland Welding Company (CWC) around 1954. The serial number is under the bottom bracket (by the crank) If that is the original paint, I would highly recommend keeping it original and just cleaning it up. Looks pretty original, the rack is aftermarket though.

The 54Cw stamp makes it a 1954.
