Help found this seat on an old autocycle .Is this a correct seat for a 1937 autocycle
Is this the correc t seat for a 1937 autocycle ? This seat came with a bike I bought this week . Ive never seen one with this post or front spring. Does anyone know what this seat is from or seen one. Thanks jimbo
That is a mixed parts Lobdell under carriage with a Troxel saddle pan.
So, not something you would typically see on a 1937 Schwinn Autocycle.
The parts do have value to the saddle restoration guys though.
I would use it also, I found this 48 Autocycle in a garbage dumpster, was missing seat and pedals. I just use it as a sometime rider so I just put on something that looks to be period correct, but not the right seat and pedals for the bike
