I thought Schwinns were cheap and plentiful in Michigan? I could pick one up in Japan cheaper than that.
And the wrong bars, freewheel, protector and derailleur.
Plentiful yes, cheap NO. What has happened here is about 5 flippers run and buy everthing, wipe them down then mark them up very high and put them right back on craigslist. I watch prices all over the midwest, Detroit market is about the highest. Prices are better in INdiana, Pennsylvania, Wisconsin,Ohio and Illinois.
The reason Schwinns are plentiful here is back in the 50's and 60's there was a lot of money in this area, and there were more Schwinn dealers per capita than any other area in the country, including Chicago.
