Serial # J78346, any idea, 28 in., I thought the fork and bottom bracket looked Shelby maybe don't know about that frame joint and sprocket

Not Shelby. Looks like a Westfield built bike. Chainring is Westfield. Serial number will reveal the year.

did early westfields use flat top fork and that type frame joint ?

serial # J78346, just looked on the Mr Columbia web site but there # only go back to 36,still wonder about that style frame joint under seat, who used that style?

Maybe a '31 if Westfield built. Not sure the sequence of pre-'35 serial numbers tho...
