This may sound like a stupid question but could you get a 9 hole rack on 56 wasp? I would like to get one for my old rusted wasp. There is one on eBay that is the right green color and right amount of patina. Thanks for the help.

Don't see any reason why you couldn't mount one on the wasp. It may not have come with one, but nothing wrong with adding one. Go for it.

Just buy one at the dealer in 1956 and put it on. same for lights, front racks, turn signals, mirrors, horns, bells and springer suspension if you did not like struts.

Wasps were often preferred by paper boys. Needs a rear rack for the rear paper bags
