WTB McCauley fenders/ Huffman rack
I'm looking for a decent pair of McCauley fenders and a rear rack for my Huffman project. Could also use a Huffman stem and kickstand.
Thanks!
Humble beginnings........this is what I'm working on

nice looking tank!
I believe I have a set of Huffman fenders with the matching paint on them.
the frame is out there too I think. I don't have an extra rack, do you want to do it like it is supposed to be, or do you want the MacCaulley deep fenders and the older rack?

Scott,
I'd really like to put the deep McCauley's on it. I'm open on the rack. I'd be happy with the '41 flat style that has the slots on each side. I have a new old stock, horizontal Huffman springer for it and most of the hardware to assemble the bike. lt will stay badged as a Western Flyer and I do have a guard like was on the WF's. I'll probably just go with what I like though. I do appreciate the tank.....makes a nice center piece for my project

Ok, here are a couple options for you.
1, 1937 Huffman made Western Flyer with most of it's original paint, deep MacCaulley fenders (ignore the Schwinn badge, it was a joke, also ignore the wheels and fork, it's basically a frame and fenders)
if you want to go really exotic, you can be the only kid on your block with a set of Wald Colonial fenders.

colonial fenders
I am interested in the Colonial Wald fenders.
What makes/models would they have been correct on?
What makes/models do they fit?
(Forgive me for piggy-backing on this thread. If you think I should start a new thread, I will.)
I have what I believe is a 1937 Huffman built Western Flyer frame that needs a proper fork and fenders:

I would take $150.00 for the 1937 frame and fenders, you can see if you find someone else with a pair cheaper if you like I'm not in a real hurry.
I would take $400.00 for the Colonial fenders, they are really rare and I paid a bit for them, you'll probably not find another set. they are correct for 1939 only, Dayton only but would look really cool on any prewar Huffman.

Scott,
I am having a hard time seeing thru the rust and other patina on the Wald Colonial fenders to figure out what makes them unique. Do you have any other pictures that might help?
Thanks, Joe

the Wald Colonial Fenders are 5 sided. I sold this bike for $700.00 mainly because it had the Colonial fenders and the crows beak guard:
here are a few more photos:
