HELP! please :) Trying To I.D. Marin Bike

Hello all. I don't think this bike is quite old enough for this section but did not see another area for mountain bikes if that's what its classified as.
I just picked this Marin up and trying to figure out more about it as far as model , year etc. It has plenty of markings but I'm not sure what model is.
It says Marin Bear Valley Cr-MO , Rock Star on forks, After Burner on rear frame, double butted Tange. Lite weight on handle bars. Any help would be awesome. Bottom of frame reads 15-19 & serial # C56GAD007

Check your Shimano components for date codes. It's a start...

Worked in a shop around that time witch sold Marin. Vaguely remember those bikes.
