Wanted CWC Prewar Dropstand for my 1940 CWC Roadmaster project. Rusty and crusty with hardware preferred, but open to whatever is out there as I understand this part is hard to come by. PM with me pictures and price. Also interested in a basic picture of the stand I'm looking for...

That is correct Mike. In fact the catalog only depicts the brace stand being used in 36 and 37 only. By 38 the non braced stand was being used.

I prefer the braced stand, so I use them on my 38’s as well.

Non-braced stand 38 & up, this 1940 catalog pic ( CWC book ) looks exactly like your 3 gill!, chainguard, rack etc.

No, the bottom is not as curved on a CWC stand.
