Never had one welded in, free floating until both sides of the are tightened, have had one stuck in with paint tho! and can't say anything about that paint but that crank, sprocket and even pedal shafts:eek:

Paint was in the gun. Why not?

Yeah she will be getting a respray. Hopefully the plating is decent under all that.
