My cousin found this head badge while metal detecting her property. Could anyone give me more info on it? A date range? I’ve found loads of info on Evans a Olson bikes, but nothing about a model called Super Deluxe.

I wonder if it is a bicycle badge? Appears to be perfectly flat, not rounded for a head tube. Could it possibly be from something else - like a stove or refrigerator?

+1 ;)

wrt Evans badged bicycles there is also F.W. Evans of England and an Evans marque in France.

wrt the subject emblem: what does the back side look like? does there appear to be provision for mechanical mounting? or does it appear it would have been mounted with adhesive?

metal detectors can be fun! :)

Looks kind of thick (1/8”) for a badge, unless the edges were rolled on a embossed emblem; makes me think it applied to a flat object.
