I just picked up this 26" bf goodrich schwinn and need help identifying model and year. I believe it to be 1939. But not sure of year or model... Any help would be appreciated

That's what I was thinking too! It looks exactly like the 1939 catalog.... However I am a rookie in the bike identification process

I havent cleaned the bike or anything. Just got it... I'll try good old fashioned dawn dish soap and water....

I would really like to get rust of the fenders, but not sure how or if it's worth it.

Clean it and ride it, these aren’t worth much. Tops $600-680- and that’s the high/high end. Yours is missing a $150 torpedo light, and $140 drop stand/clip.
